SHAKESPEARE's Globe Theater

Central London

The theater was very big with lots of detail.

This is the stage.  The ceiling on the stage was made to look like heaven with lots of careful detail.

The marble and detail of the stage.

This is a clearer picture of the stage.

The pillars are so carefully put together.

These are the boxes where you view productions.

Our group within the boxes

The actual stage from the boxes.

The better seats are higher up.  The wealthiest sat up the highest.

During some plays like "Macbeth" people in the play were cranked down onto stage from this part of the stage.

This is where the "groundlings" viewed the play.

The detail in these  boxes were amazing.

From the best seats in the house this is how the stage looked.
